Over the last few posts I've been talking a lot about conflict and resolution. A big part of that has been talking about conflict and it's challenges. We all know that conflict can be a messy complicated thing, but did you know that the same is true about resolution?
This isn't going to be like any of my normal posts for my sermon shorts. This was a more difficult message to give because of its topic. Rather than typing a full post, I'll link to a video of the message below, and then direct you to find more information.
Straws and conflict have a long history together. Mostly, it always seems like it's the straws fault that something bad happens. As an example, it's always the straw that breaks the camel's back.
This message starts in Matthew 18:15-20. This is, an admittedly difficult passage. Some would argue that its plain and clear, but to do so ignores so much of what is taking place and the direction that Chapter 18 is going. This is a passage on conflict in the church and how we handle it.
